Matchday subtitles at the Etihad Stadium
Dear all,
I am delighted to share that at tomorrow's match against Fulham, we'll be displaying subtitles for the first time. These will help anyone who struggles to hear pre-match and half-time interviews and entertainment, especially those supporters who are deaf or hard of hearing (HoH).
We're going to be working with a group of deaf/HoH supporters over the next couple of months to gather their feedback on the subtitles, including positioning, accuracy and latency. This will allow us to tweak the service each matchday to meet supporters' needs.
This is a really important step forward for accessibility and inclusion. Fingers crossed that tomorrow's "soft launch" goes well, and please do share your feedback in this thread.

I think this went really well, but I did get feedback that the subtitles didn't appear for the half-time interviews or presentations, at the Fulham game. I replied that it was a soft launch, so will presumably increase, over time, but just wanted to point that out.
