City in the Community appoints new Chair of Trustees
City in the Community recently announced the appointment of Gary Tipper as its new Chair of the Board of Trustees.
Gary, Managing Partner at Palatine Private Equity and a lifelong Manchester City fan, joined the charity’s board in 2024.
With more than three decades of experience in private equity and a track record of supporting businesses to grow sustainably, Gary will enhance expertise in strategic planning, governance, and building partnerships to the charity’s top table.
His recent involvement in helping to shape City in the Community’s new three-year strategy means he joins the role with a clear vision for its next chapter.
Gary will be taking over from Pat Loftus, who is stepping down after 15 years on the City in the Community board. Pat, who is a former Senior Partner at Deloitte, provided brilliant leadership throughout his tenure.
